Mistakes

Mistakes…we all have made our share. Although we may think we are exempt, we are not. What is important is to confess it. Like on yesterday, at my part time job, my boss brought an error to my attention. While I was embarrassed by making the mistake, I said, “I am sorry. I did make a mistake.” I did not add excuses or get angry.  And guess what? My boss went on in a forgiving way…with understanding. That’s the way God wants us to be in agreement with His Word. When The Holy Spirit brings something SIN-OUR MISTAKES..to our attention, acknowledge it and say I am sorry. When you are truly sorry, you try your best not to repeat the mistake again. Mistakes can be used for future good…because you will be on guard NOT to REPEAT the MISTAKES.

I John 1:9-10 says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.”
