Move on What You Heard
“And when the Queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the Lord, she came to prove him with hard questions.”
—1 Kings 10:1 (KJV)
Ponder This:
The Queen of Sheba didn’t just sit with curiosity, she mobilized it. She heard of Solomon’s wisdom, but what truly stirred her was that his reputation was tied to the name of the Lord. She didn’t just want information, she wanted revelation.
So, she prepared a caravan - a royal procession loaded with gifts, questions, and expectation. She traveled across distance, difficulty, and danger for one reason: to discover what only an encounter could unveil.
And watch this - God led her to a man. Not just any man, but a servant of the Lord whose wisdom carried weight. To discover more of God is often to spend time with His servants - those walking in His Word, anointed to reveal His heart.
She came with questions. She left with clarity. She came with offerings. She left with overflow. She came curious. She left convinced.
Her breath was taken. Her heart was changed. Her lips gave glory to God.
She said, “The half wasn’t even told to me.”
Provoking:
You’ve heard just enough to know there’s more. Now the question is: Will you move?
Will you take what you’ve heard and turn it into a caravan of pursuit? Will you allow your journey to include sitting under wise counsel, engaging with Kingdom voices, and honoring those whom God has raised up for your growth?
Don’t park in passive wonder. Don’t settle for secondhand revelation. Don’t stop short of the encounter.
There’s glory on the other side of movement and humility.
Watch The Exchange:
She brought gold but left with greater wisdom. She brought spices but received spiritual insight. She brought questions and walked away with a new confession:
“Blessed be the Lord thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the \Lord loved Israel forever, therefore made he thee king, "to do judgement and justice. And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices very great store, and precious stones; there came no more such abundance of spices as these which the queen of Sheba gave to king Solomon.” (Kings 10:9-10 KJV)
I challenge your discovery: What happens when you pursue with purpose, and honor the voices God places in your path?
Prayer:
Father God, thank You for stirring me to move beyond what I’ve heard. I refuse to continue to settle for stories, I want encounter - experience. I choose to honor the voices You’ve anointed to reveal Your wisdom. I choose to let what I discover shift my posture, change my confession, and activate my next season of prosperity in Christ Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
