Peace Is Our Inheritance

Peace Is Our Inheritance

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

John 14:27 (NIV)

No matter what is going on around us: chaos, uncertainty, and spiritual warfare, peace is our inheritance as a child of God. Jesus didn’t promise a life without trouble, but He did promise His peace. Not the fragile calm the world offers, but a supernatural stillness that holds you steady in every storm.

This peace isn’t passive; it’s powerful. It anchors our minds, silences fears, and guards our hearts. Peace is not the absence of problems, it’s the presence of Jesus.

So today, embrace what’s already ours. Declare it. Dwell in it. Choose to let the Prince of Peace rule in your heart.

Prayer:

Our Father, thank You for the gift of peace. We embrace it today as our rightful inheritance. We choose to let Your peace rule in our hearts, no matter what storms arise. We choose to rest in You. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
