Repent or Resist?

Scripture: Proverbs 28:13 (KJV)

“He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.”

Ponder This

When Our Father reveals areas in our lives that need correction, we have a choice: repent or resist. Too often, we make excuses, justify our actions, or blame others rather than acknowledge our wrongs.

Refusing to repent allows pride and stubbornness to harden our hearts toward Our Father's voice.

Repentance is more than saying, “Lord, forgive me.” It requires a change of heart and a willingness to turn away from what displeases Him. As we humble ourselves and submit to Our Father, we position ourselves to receive His mercy, wisdom, and strength to change.

World Changers, Our Father's correction is an expression of His love. Don't allow pride to keep you from receiving His mercy. What we refuse to confront, we often continue to repeat.

Reflection

Am I resisting correction in an area where Our Father is calling me to repent?

Prayer

Our Father, forgive me for resisting Your correction. Remove pride and stubbornness from my heart. Thank You for helping me to sincerely repent and remain sensitive and obedient to Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
