Re-set with Worship and the Word
Scripture:
“He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”
— Psalm 23:3 (KJV)
Devotion:
There are moments when everything in us feels tired, our mind, body, and soul. In those moments, God invites us to a "Re-set." Not through striving, but through worship and the Word.
Worship silences the noise. It realigns our hearts to Heaven. The Word speaks truth that pushes back lies and lifts the heavy fog of weariness. Together, worship and the Word become spiritual medicine, restoring what life, stress, and even our own thoughts have drained.
When you play worship music and open your Bible, something powerful happens: your atmosphere shifts. Your soul remembers. Your body responds.
Declare over yourself:
• “He restores my soul” (Psalm 23:3). I don’t have to stay weary. God is restoring me now.
• “Let the weak say, I am strong” (Joel 3:10). I may feel weak, but I speak strength into my being.
Every time you open your mouth in worship and speak His Word, you "Re-set" your soul. You rise again, not in your strength, but in His.
Prayer:
Sweet Lord, I come to You feeling tired but willing. I choose to "Re-set" through Your presence. I choose to fill my atmosphere with worship, and flood my soul with Your Word. Every weak place in me be strengthened and every dry place refreshed. I declare that You are my rest, my "Re-set," and my renewal. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
