Revelation Changes Us Daily
Scripture:
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:” (Ephesians 1:17, KJV)
Ponder This:
Revelation is not something we stumble into by accident, it is something we open ourselves to daily. Paul’s prayer (please pray it also) in Ephesians reminds us that wisdom and revelation come as we engage in knowing Our Father. And the primary way we do that is by opening ourselves to reading and meditating on His Word.
We cannot be changed by what we refuse to engage. When we only skim Scripture, we may gather information, but when we meditate on it, the Holy Spirit breathes life into the words and our lives/territories. Suddenly, familiar verses speak directly to our situation. Passages we’ve read before shine with new meaning. Revelation takes us deeper, shifting our perspective and opening our lives to God’s wisdom that can be easily applied because now we gain an understanding that helps us embrace and carry out His purposes. It really does help us to see and understand what is hidden beyond the veil of the physical realm.
Revelation also comes through hearing His voice in every aspect of life:
• In Scripture – His voice anchors us in truth and unveils promises.
• In Prayer – His Spirit whispers direction, comfort, and conviction.
• In Worship – His presence softens our hearts and stirs our faith.
• In Relationships – He speaks through wise counsel, encouragement, and accountability.
• In Circumstances – He reveals lessons, strategies, and wonders even in trials and victories.
When we open ourselves to His voice in these aspects, revelation flows. And with revelation comes transformational strategies - divine blueprints that help us walk wisely, live faithfully, and embrace His wonders.
Prayer
Father of Glory, open our ears to hear Your voice in every aspect of our lives. Thank You for giving us access to You in Scripture, in prayer, in worship, in our relationships, and even in our daily circumstances. We choose to be amazed by every word You reveal and to be transformed with wisdom and strategy. Our desire is to change daily, for your glory. Help us to embrace Your wonders! In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Declaration:
I hear God’s voice in every aspect of life. His revelation changes me daily and empowers me to embrace His wonders.
