Save Them to the Uttermost
Scripture:
“Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.”
— Hebrews 7:25 (KJV)
Jesus doesn’t save us halfway. He saves us to the uttermost - completely, fully, and eternally. There is no part of our lives too broken, no past too heavy, and no struggle too deep for His saving power. When we come to God through Him, we receive a salvation that touches every part of who we are...spirit, soul, and body.
We are not just forgiven, we are made whole. And the best part? He ever lives to make intercession for us. That means Jesus is continually praying for us, standing in the gap, covering us with grace, and lifting us up when we feel like giving in.
And as we grow in Christ and choose to be conformed to His image, we find ourselves praying like He does. Our hearts cry out not only for our own deliverance but for others too. We begin to echo His intercession: “Lord, save them to the uttermost.” This is the agreement we make in faith, that the same mercy that reached us will reach them. We don’t just receive His saving grace; we partner with it.
No matter what we’re walking through, we can rest in this truth: Jesus is able. He’s not finished with us, or with those we love. He’s still interceding, still reaching, still saving...to the uttermost.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for saving us completely. Thank You that Your love never runs out and Your prayers never cease. We agree with You today, not only for our lives but for those around us. Save them to the uttermost. Rescue, restore, and redeem those we lift before You. We choose to be vessels of intercession, reflecting Your heart and carrying Your hope. In Your name we pray, Amen.
