Share the Gospel of Peace

Scripture:

“And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;” — Ephesians 6:15 (KJV)

“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” — Matthew 5:9 (KJV)

“And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;” — 2 Corinthians 5:18 (KJV)

Reflection:

The Gospel of Peace is the message of reconciliation and harmony between God and humanity, and through Christ, we are invited to share in this peace and extend it to others. Jesus, the Prince of Peace, has not only reconciled us to God but has also called us to be peacemakers in the world. “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God” (Matthew 5:9). When we live as peacemakers, we reflect God’s heart and demonstrate the love and unity He desires for all His creation.

Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 5:18 that God has entrusted us with the “ministry of reconciliation.” This means we are called to help restore relationships—between God and people, and among one another. The Gospel of Peace anchors us in God’s love and empowers us to bring healing, hope, and unity in a world often marked by division.

Action Thought:

Reflect on how you are embracing your role as a peacemaker and minister of reconciliation. Are there areas in your life where you can bring God’s peace to others? Seek ways to live out this calling, knowing that God has equipped you to make a difference.

Prayer:

ABBA, thank You for reconciling me to Yourself through Jesus Christ. Help me to live as a peacemaker, spreading the Gospel of Peace to those around me. May I be a faithful minister of reconciliation, reflecting Your love and unity in all I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
