Take Those Negative Thoughts Captive

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV)

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

Ponder This

Negative thoughts about ourselves, others, finances, or circumstances can rob us of joy and peace and hinder us from fulfilling Our Father’s will.

Even our good intentions can become overwhelming when we try to orchestrate what Our Father has already promised to direct. We must choose to take negative thoughts captive, replace them with Our Father’s truth, and trust Him to order our steps as we walk by faith, one choice at a time.

Don’t allow negative thoughts to rob you of His joy today!

Reflection

Am I trusting Our Father to order my steps, or overwhelming myself trying to orchestrate the outcome?

Prayer

Our Father, thank You for helping me recognize negativity quickly so I can flip the script and align my thoughts with Your Word. I choose to walk in joy, peace, and purpose. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
