Thou Art My God

Thou Art My God

Scripture: Psalm 140:6 (KJV)

“I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.”

Ponder This

David faced people who planned evil against him, but he turned to the Lord. In the middle of his trouble, he declared, “Thou art my God.”

We, too, can declare who Our Father is when life feels uncertain. We may not be able to control what others say or do, but we can bring our concerns to Him. As we pray, let us remember that we belong to a Father who hears us and is our strength.

Reflection

When I face opposition, where do I turn first?

Prayer

Our Father, thank You for hearing me when I come to you. Thank You for leading me to turn to You when I face trouble and to trust You to be my strength. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
