Tread and Take It!
Scripture:
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
— Luke 10:19 (KJV)
Devotion:
You/we were never meant to tiptoe around the enemy, you/we were born to tread. Not in fear, but in fire. Not in retreat, but in authority. The Kingdom of God is not inherited by the passive but by the persistent, the bold, and the obedient.
Every place you/we set your/our foot becomes a declaration:
This ground belongs to God. I/we tread to take.
Joshua was told that wherever his foot stepped, it would be his. David danced on the same ground where he had defeated giants. Jesus declared that the Church would trample the gates of hell, and they would not prevail.
You/we don’t just walk through spiritual warfare, you/we trample over it. You/we tread on lies, sickness, depression, fear, and every work of the enemy. You/we walk in Romans 16:20 victory, God is bruising Satan under your/our feet. You/we walk in Psalm 91:13 protection, trampling lions and serpents.
This is your/our time to tread and take it - every promise, every prophecy, every piece of ground the enemy tried to claim.
Declarations:
• I/we have divine authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions.
• The enemy is under my/our feet - crushed by God’s power and my/our obedience.
• Every step I/we take is warfare, worship, and Kingdom advancement.
• I/we do not walk in fear - I/we tread and I/we take territory.
Prayer:
Father God, thank You for the authority to tread. Let me/us walk boldly and advance confidently. I/we reject fear and confusion. I/we receive courage and clarity. I/we declare that every step I/we take is covered in the blood of Jesus and aligned with Your Word. The enemy is under my/our feet, and I/we walk in victory. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
