We Are God’s Billboard

Scripture:

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.”

— Matthew 5:14 (KJV)

We don’t need flashing lights to make an impact. We are called to shine the light of Jesus through how we live. As a billboard for God, our lives speak before our words. Our joy in hardship, our peace in storms, our love when it’s hard to give, all of it declares who our God is.

Billboards are meant to be seen. They’re positioned high so the message can’t be missed. In the same way, God has placed us, on purpose, in places where His glory can shine through us. We may be the only sermon someone ever sees.

Let our lives advertise His goodness. Let our story point people to His grace. Every scar, every testimony, every triumph is a message: God is real, God is good, and God still works miracles.

Prayer:

Father, make our lives a billboard for Your glory. Let how we live, love, and lead reflect You clearly. We choose to yield our story to You. Use it to draw others to the hope found in Christ. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
