We Have Access

Scripture: 

“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature…”

— 2 Peter 1:4 (KJV)

Reflection:

We weren’t just saved to sit, we were saved to share. As a believer, we are a partaker of something far greater than anything this world could offer: God’s own nature. That means His love, power, peace, wisdom, and righteousness are not just traits to admire from afar, they are qualities He invites us to live out daily.

Being a partaker isn’t passive. It’s a call to participate in what God is doing and to reflect who He is. Through His promises, He empowers us to live above the corruption in the world and walk in victory over sin, fear, and defeat. We are not merely surviving, we are divinely equipped to thrive. We are purposed to live more than abundantly.

So today, don’t settle for less than our spiritual inheritance. Draw from the divine nature that lives inside us. Speak His Word, reflect His heart, and walk in the truth that we have access to everything Heaven offers because we are a partaker.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for calling us to be a partaker of Your divine nature. Thank You for access to all that we will ever need. Help us to remember that we are not walking through life empty or powerless…we carry Your Spirit and Your promises. Strengthen us to live like it, talk like it, and love like it. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
