When Love Abounds

“And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment.”

— Philippians 1:9 (NKJV)

Devotion:

When love abounds, everything shifts. Love is not passive; it is a powerful force that fuels our spirit, ignites our passion, and energizes our purpose. Paul prayed for the Philippians to overflow with love, not just any love, but love enriched with wisdom and discernment.

When we are about our Father’s business, love becomes the fuel that increases our flow.

• Energy rises. Serving with love removes weariness and stirs a fresh wind of strength.

• Joy projects. We radiate the goodness of God, lifting others in the process.

• Peace abides. Love anchors us in God’s presence, silencing fear and anxiety.

• God is glorified. When love abounds, our lives reflect His nature, drawing others closer to Him.

God’s love is not just something we receive; it is something we release. The more we pour it out, the more we are refilled. As we move in love, our steps quicken, our hearts lighten, and our purpose comes alive. We live in the overflow of love.
