Why Not Try?

Scripture: Psalm 34:8 KJV

“O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”

Ponder This

World Changers, how often have we talked ourselves out of something before taking the first step? We may say, “What if I fail?” But what would happen if we said, "What if we learn? What if Our Father uses that step to grow us?"

Past disappointments can make us hesitant to try again. Yet yesterday’s outcome does not tell us everything Our Father has planned for today. We can seek His direction and move forward without having every answer.

Why not try forgiving? Why not try that new approach? Why not take one step toward what He has placed on your heart? Trusting Our Father means we can leave the outcome with Him while taking responsibility for our next step.

Reflection

What have I been afraid to try, and what faithful step can I take today?

Prayer

Our Father, thank You for helping me to recognize Your direction and move beyond fear. Give me courage to try, humility to learn, and faith to trust You with the outcome. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
